Meet Clayton’s Interim Director — Marcela Uribe
Originally from Colombia, I moved to the United States 10 years ago. I hold a degree in Business Economics with a specialization in Marketing and have been part of the SPANISH FOR FUN! family since 2022.
I began my journey as a Teacher Assistant in the two-year-old classroom at our Glenwood location. I later served as an Admin Floater before joining our Wake Forest campus as Assistant Director. Most recently, I served as Director of SPANISH FOR FUN! Duraleigh.
I am honored to now support our Clayton community as Interim Director while continuing to grow my knowledge and experience in early childhood education. I am passionate about creating a welcoming environment where children feel safe, supported, and inspired to learn.
Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, discovering new restaurants, spending time outdoors, and making memories with my family and friends.
