Meet our Duraleigh Director – Marcela Uribe
I am a Colombian immigrant who arrived in the United States 10 years ago. I hold a degree in Business Economics with a specialization in Marketing. I have been working for Spanish For Fun! since 2022, starting as a Teacher Assistant in the 2-year-old classroom at the Glenwood location. Later, I applied for the Admin Floater position, which I held for a short time before being transferred to the Wake Forest location, where I served as the Assistant Director for one year.
Currently, I am the Director of Spanish For Fun! Duraleigh, where I continue to build on my passion for early childhood education. Over the past few years, I have dedicated myself to learning about this field and continue to pursue further training to grow in my career.
I truly enjoy working with children and am passionate about providing them with the best learning experiences. In my free time, I love exploring new places, especially restaurants, traveling, enjoying outdoor activities, and spending time with my family and friends.
